The Oriental College of Pharmacy (OCP) was founded in 2004 under the aegis of Oriental Education Society. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
Recently OCP has been certified by ISO 9001:2008 for its quality management system. Building on its mission and tradition of excellence, the college offers a well-developed and modern curriculum based graduate and post-graduate programs in Pharmacy education. At present, the college offers full-fledged B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Quality Assurance and Pharmacology. A highly competent team of researchers is engaged in research of active pharmaceutical ingredients, formulations and pharmacological activity of pharmaceuticals. A well-maintained animal house is made available to conduct animal studies. College is getting projects from renowned institutes like IIT-B.
As a private, independent, co-educational institution, OCP offers its students a unique opportunity to integrate theoretical and applied knowledge in the health sector; so that graduates become enlightened thinkers as well as competent practitioners. The state-of-the-art laboratories along with the highly experienced and recognized faculty provide valuable hands-on learning and clinical skills for the students. Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology, Sanpada is a prestigious educational institution run by the Oriental Educational Society. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and is offering courses leading to the Degree of B.Sc.-IT, BMS, BMM, B.Com, B. Com. (Banking & Insurance), B.Com.(Accounting & Finance). In addition to Degree College we also have a Junior College offering Commerce and Science streams for H.S.C. examination. The college sports a seven-storied modern building having a total built up area of 12600 sq.ft. with a full-fledged infrastructure. The college campus is very attractive with a very spacious playground. The college has spacious well-equipped library and well-lit ventilated reading hall for the students to study. College has its own gymkhana to encourage the students to participate in various sports both indoor and outdoor games. The laboratories are well equipped. The computer labs have around 150 computers with Internet access along with a mass-media lab. The science laboratories are also very spacious; each lab for Physics, Chemistry & Biology has capacity for 120 students each at a time.
The college encourages students to participate in various activities like cultural activities, sports activities. The students very actively participate and win trophies. Students from other colleges also participate in our college during inter-collegiate competition. The college has celebrated the annual inter collegiate festival “Oriens-2012” last year in very pompous auspicious manner.

Indian Pharmaceutical Industry has tuned from local needs to global needs. It has developed infrastructure that complies globally. India holds maximum number of USFDA approvals for the manufacturing plants and stands first by volume in export of medicines. Thus, the scope of growth in the Indian Pharmaceutical industry is highly promising.
As the Pharmaceutical industry is knowledge based, a sound academic foundation is imperative to be a part of this high growth industry is imperative. The Pharmacy graduates are the knowledge resource for the growth of Pharmaceutical industry.
Keeping this in mind, H K College of Pharmacy strives at the over all development of its students in addition to the complete training in the field of Pharmacy; so that the students can take up challenges when they move on to their professional life.
We have also initiated the Post Graduate level (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics. At the PG level, H K College of Pharmacy takes every effort to inculcate research aptitude among the students.

Oriental Education Society was established in 1992. OES was founded by former Education Minister, Government of Maharashtra, Prof. Javed Khan who is well known educationist, visionary personality and social reformer.
OES has widened its educational services at different locations at Andheri, Oshiwara, Sanpada and Vashi for covering western side and Navi Mumbai. OES runs different courses like preschool to management courses. It runs undergraduate courses like B.Com, BMS, BBI, B. Pharma, B.Ed., LLB and PG courses like M. Pharma, PGDM, MFM, MMM and MMS.
